Training that shows up in the game.
We develop more than basketball skills. Athletes learn to make better decisions, perform with confidence under pressure, and apply what they learn when the game changes.
Train Smarter.
Use representative, decision-rich environments with defenders, teammates, space, time, scoring, and game problems.
Play Faster.
Recognize relevant information earlier and make an effective decision sooner, without rushing.
Real Game Results.
Transfer learned behaviors into live play in ways that positively influence possessions.
Real Game Results
Real Game Results (RGR) is JP2BA’s proprietary approach for connecting training to observable behaviors that matter in competition. Instead of measuring development only by points scored or drills completed, RGR helps athletes, coaches, and parents recognize how a player is learning to make decisions and apply skills during competition.
Progress is documented through observable, age-appropriate behaviors: earlier recognition, faster decisions, better advantage creation, stronger ball security, better shot quality, effective off-ball play, and adaptability under pressure.
Seven Indicators
Select effective shoot / pass / drive / hold choices based on live information.
Create or extend an advantage against the defense.
Maintain possession and control under pressure.
Advance team advantage through passing and shared decisions.
Create value without the ball.
Change solution when the environment changes.
Generate and execute quality scoring opportunities.
The indicators always appear in this order: Decide, Create, Protect, Connect, Move, Adapt, Finish.

Real Game Results (RGR) is JP2BA’s proprietary approach for connecting training to observable behaviors that matter in competition. Rather than measuring development only by drills completed, points scored, or shots made, RGR helps athletes, coaches, and parents recognize how development is showing up in real game situations. RGR focuses on seven game-transfer indicators: Decide, Create, Protect, Connect, Move, Adapt, and Finish.
JP2BA teaches basketball skills, but we do not stop at technique. Athletes are regularly placed in realistic situations that require them to see information, make decisions, execute skills, and adapt to defenders, teammates, space, and pressure. Our goal is game transfer: helping athletes use what they learn when the game becomes unpredictable.
They are evidence-informed ways of designing learning environments. In practical terms, JP2BA creates basketball situations where athletes must read defenders, recognize space, make decisions, and adapt their actions rather than repeat the same movement without context. Coaches adjust space, time, scoring rules, defenders, teammates, or task goals to create the right challenge.
Improvement should be visible in more than drill performance. JP2BA looks for changes in how athletes make decisions, protect the ball, create advantages, connect with teammates, move without the ball, adapt to changing situations, and finish plays. Coach observation and Real Game Results connect training priorities to behaviors parents can watch for during competition.
Athlete safety is built into JP2BA operations: open, observable training environments, clear adult-athlete boundaries, parent-transparent communication, required participant waivers, appropriate supervision, child-protection procedures, coach screening, and emergency-readiness practices. Parents may raise safety concerns at any time.
JP2BA serves athletes ages 8–18 at different stages of development. Beginners may need more support with fundamental movement and basketball skills, while experienced players may need greater variability, pressure, and decision-making challenges. The environment is adjusted so the athlete is appropriately challenged rather than placed into a one-size-fits-all workout.
